I used to think I would never meet another person who understood what it truly means to wait for the right person. And though I didn’t actually meet Patty Laurel, I have to say that there you go, I’m not the only crazy one who believes in love this way. I’m going to have to be part cheesy, part ilusyonada here, but this is what I believe love is like:

I believe that a relationship is precious and special and should be kept as pure, happy, and loving as possible. Love is not about appearances and thrills, but about standing before the Lord as partners in life, in perfect understanding.

I also believe love should not be rushed. This is the hard part, the one I’m stuck in. You wait for the right person. Right, as in, not the perfect human being who is everything you wanted to be, but right, as in the one God meant for you. Wait, as in choosing the right time, when you are mature, and not hopping around checking out every single guy you get interested in.
